Mark the document, keep it yours.

Add “Draft”, “Confidential”, a company name, or a logo across the pages. Set how strong it is and where it sits; the document never leaves this tab.

Use all, a single page, or a range such as 1-3, 8.

The mark is added above the page content. A watermark discourages casual copying but cannot prevent someone from cropping or editing the document.

Add a PDF, then design the mark.

Your PDF is opened and rebuilt inside this tab. There is no upload endpoint, no waiting in a queue, and no copy stored anywhere. How local processing works.

The short version

How it works.

No installer, no sign-up, and no second app to open. The work happens in the browser you already have, using the file already on your device.

  1. Load the PDF

Open the document and choose whether to mark every page or only a page range.

  2. Design the mark

Enter text or choose a PNG/JPG logo, then adjust size, opacity, rotation, and position. The preview shows the result over a representative page.

  3. Apply and download

Build the watermarked copy and save it. The mark is embedded in the PDF, while the original pages remain underneath.

Fine print, without the runaround

Good to know.

Every tool has a boundary. These are the ones worth knowing before you start, so the result is not a surprise.

A watermark is a deterrent, not DRM

It makes casual copying obvious and can discourage reuse. It does not prevent a determined person from cropping or editing the document.

Images with transparency work best

Use a PNG with a transparent background for a logo. Broad text watermarks are effective without hiding the content underneath.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Still stuck? Write to info@lovelytools.site.

Can I use an image as a watermark?

Yes. PNG and JPG images are supported. A transparent PNG logo gives the cleanest result over text and photos.

Will the watermark affect the original PDF?

No. Lovely Tools creates a new document. Your original file is unchanged and remains on your device.

Can I watermark only some pages?

Yes. Apply the watermark to all pages or enter a range such as 1-3, 8. This is useful for confidential exhibits that only need marking on certain pages.
