The short version

How it works.

No installer, no sign-up, and no second app to open. The work happens in the browser you already have, using the file already on your device.

  1. Identify both parties

Add your business name and address, the client’s details, an invoice number, and the issue and due dates.

  2. List the work

Add each line item with a description, quantity, and rate. Choose a tax rate and add any discount or payment note.

  3. Save and send

Print or save the invoice as a PDF. Keep a copy for your records and check that the totals and payment details are correct.

Fine print, without the runaround

Good to know.

Every tool has a boundary. These are the ones worth knowing before you start, so the result is not a surprise.

Not a bookkeeping system

The generator does not store invoices, track payments, or calculate tax for your jurisdiction. Keep your own records and consult a professional for tax rules.

Number invoices consistently

A simple sequence such as 2026-001 is easier to reconcile than random numbers. Never reuse an invoice number for a different job.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Still stuck? Write to info@lovelytools.site.

Is the invoice legally valid?

A simple invoice is accepted in many situations, but the required contents vary by country and by whether you are VAT/GST registered. Check local requirements for tax identifiers and wording.

Can I save and edit it later?

The page does not store invoices. Save the PDF and keep the source details in your own records; you can re-enter them here if you need to issue a corrected invoice.

Does it work for freelancers?

Yes. It is designed for small jobs and freelance work. Add your tax registration details in the notes section if your jurisdiction requires them on the invoice.

Most file jobs come in pairs. These three usually follow close behind.
