The short version

How it works.

No installer, no sign-up, and no second app to open. The work happens in the browser you already have, using the file already on your device.

  1. Enter the loan details

Add the amount borrowed, the annual rate, and the term in months or years.

  2. Read the monthly payment

The calculator uses the standard amortising formula. The result assumes a fixed rate and equal monthly payments.

  3. Compare a shorter term

Change the term to see the trade-off between a lower monthly payment and more total interest.

Fine print, without the runaround

Good to know.

Every tool has a boundary. These are the ones worth knowing before you start, so the result is not a surprise.

A fixed-rate estimate

Variable-rate loans, interest-only periods, arrangement fees, and insurance are not included. Ask the lender for the full repayment schedule.

APR is not the same as the rate

The annual percentage rate includes certain fees and gives a fuller borrowing cost. The calculator uses the interest rate you enter.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Still stuck? Write to info@lovelytools.site.

What formula is used?

The standard reducing-balance annuity formula: the payment is the principal times the monthly rate, divided by one minus the compounded monthly rate over the term.

Can I use it for a car or personal loan?

Yes. It works for any fixed-rate, equal-payment loan. For mortgages, add fees and insurance separately to see the full monthly cost.

Does it include processing fees?

No. Fees are lender-specific. Add them to the amount financed or compare the lender’s APR to get a fuller picture.
