Sign only documents you are entitled to sign
A signature carries legal weight. Make sure you understand the document before placing your name on it.
Can I type my signature instead of drawing it?
Yes. Switch to the typed option and enter your name. The signature is rendered onto the page at the size and position you choose.
Does the signature cover the original text?
Only the area you place it over. Adjust the position and width in the preview so the signature sits in a clear space, such as a signature line.
Is a drawn signature legal?
Electronic signatures are accepted for many documents, but requirements vary by country and document type. Lovely Tools provides the marking tool, not legal advice.
